It all started when…

Brian started performing at 5 in his church’s production of Free to Be… You and Me. He performed all through high school and college, and the year after graduation convinced him that acting should be his profession. He attended the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, and then started graduate school at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After one year, Brian transferred to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, where he earned his MFA in Acting and his Equity card, and then moved home to the Bay Area to pursue his career. In the last 25 years, he’s worked at three Tony-winning regional theatres, He’s originated roles in brand-new musicals and straight plays. Brian’s also checked off ten more Shakespeare plays in looking to perform in the whole canon.
